Privacy Policy
How Qwark collects, uses, stores and protects your information — and the choices you have over it. Effective 25 August 2026.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Qwark and Waterchest Technologies Private Limited collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the Qwark website, waitlist forms, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, phone number, email address, and any details you submit through contact or waitlist forms. We may also collect device, log, and usage information such as browser type, pages visited, date/time stamps, and approximate location derived from IP address. If the app or service later includes financial profiling or advisory workflows, those categories should be explicitly listed here before collection begins. We also collect usage analytics. On the website, this is through analytics software we host ourselves, which uses no cookies and no persistent identifier. In the Qwark app and web app, it is through Google Firebase Analytics, which records the screens you view and product events — never your financial figures, identity documents, or contact details — and through Qwark's own servers, which record the steps you take while connecting accounts as counts and outcomes only, never the name of any institution you searched for or selected. If you install the app from a link we have tagged, we may also record which campaign brought you to the app.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to operate and improve Qwark, respond to inquiries, manage waitlists and onboarding, provide customer support, analyze performance, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and communicate product updates or service notices.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers who help us host the website, analyze traffic, manage communications, or support product operations. We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not sell personal information unless this policy is updated to state otherwise. Google LLC (Firebase Analytics) processes app and web-app usage events on our behalf under its data-processing terms. We do not use the advertising features of these services and do not run advertising against your data.
5. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, regulatory, accounting, fraud-prevention, and business continuity requirements. If you request deletion where applicable, we will review and respond in accordance with relevant law and operational obligations.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of certain personal information. You may also opt out of non-essential communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us directly.
8. Children’s Privacy
Qwark is not intended for children unless specifically stated otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the product or other appropriate channels.
